Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Embedded C Developer to design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive/embedded systems. The candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C programming, debugging, and software development life cycle activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software using C programming language.
- Design, code, debug, and optimize firmware for embedded systems.
- Analyze software requirements and prepare design documents.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
- Interface with hardware teams for board bring-up and debugging.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware-related issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Support software integration and product validation activities.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C.
- Good understanding of Microcontrollers and Microprocessors.
- Experience with RTOS concepts.
- Knowledge of communication protocols:
- CAN
- LIN
- UART
- SPI
- I2C
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, Trace32, Lauterbach, etc.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Preferred Skills
- Automotive domain experience.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR.
- Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer).
- Python scripting for automation.
- Embedded Linux knowledge.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related field.
