Role Description
The Education Loan Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad. The role involves guiding students and their families through the education loan process, from initial enquiry to final disbursement. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing eligibility, explaining loan products and terms, helping with documentation, and coordinating with various lenders to facilitate approvals. The counsellor will handle student queries, provide proactive follow-up, and maintain accurate records of applications and outcomes.
This position also requires building strong relationships with students, institutions, and lending partners to ensure a smooth and transparent loan experience.
Qualifications
- Robust understanding of Loan Servicing and Loans, including documentation, processing, and basic compliance.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with students and families.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance principles relevant to lending and interest rates.
- Sales skills to effectively explain loan options, address objections, and support students in decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools and maintaining structured records of applications.
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional languages
