What youll do

As a Lead engineer, you will:
- Conduct power electronics research, including modeling, simulation, design, and testing of electrical components and systems.
- Simulate and analyze electrical systems involving power converters, transformers, filters, grid, electromechanical systems, renewable and conventional generation, and controls.
- Develop algorithms for power conversion systems, including control, monitoring, and diagnostics.



Implement advanced electrical system controls in hardware and conduct hardware-in-the-loop tests.
- Lead programs to meet business objectives, manage execution, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely deliverables. Represent research through written and oral presentations to business customers and at technical conferences. Understand and collaborate on business requirements with GE Vernova product engineers and the Advanced Research team.
- Ensure quality outcomes, deliver projects within timelines and cost, and understand key business drivers and team integration. Work independently or with multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance to recent team members.
- Propose solutions, use prior experience to solve tasks, and leverage technical skills and analytic thinking to solve problems.
