Field Technician – Service (Second Shift)

Field Supervisor / Service Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure timely and effective handling of elevator callbacks and provide critical breakdown support during second shift operations for a defined service portfolio, maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all emergency callbacks and breakdown complaints within the assigned territory during second shift hours.
- Provide immediate technical support for critical shutdowns to restore elevator service at the earliest.
- Diagnose faults in elevators including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
- Carry out necessary repairs, adjustments, and part replacements during shift to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all safety norms and company procedures are strictly followed while executing service activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and higher technical teams for unresolved or recurring issues.
- Maintain explicit and professional communication with customers regarding breakdown status and resolution timelines.
- Support smooth handover of pending issues to day shift team, ensuring no gaps in service continuity.
- Record all service activities, breakdown details, and actions taken accurately in the reporting system.
- Identify potential risks or recurring failures and proactively report for preventive action.

Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems (traction, hydraulic, controllers, door systems, ARD, etc.)
