- Establish baseline station pricing at the beginning of each RFP cycle.
- Own the end-to-end pricing data collection process from regional and station teams using standardized global templates.
- Validate and challenge pricing inputs against established benchmarks and pricing libraries.
- Consolidate multi-location pricing inputs into a comprehensive global bid model.
- Identify pricing variances, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues for timely resolution.
2. Business Case Development & Commercial Trade-offs
- Develop and validate end-to-end pro forma financial models throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analyses considering:
- Volume changes
- Product/service mix
- Foreign exchange (FX)
- Cost drivers
- Model commercial pricing levers, including:
- Rebates
- Discounts
- Sign-on incentives
- Bundled pricing structures
- Provide real-time pricing analysis and scenario modelling to support commercial negotiations.
3. Pricing Intelligence & Analytics
- Develop and maintain a centralized pricing library and rate repository across customers and regions.
- Drive pricing consistency and promote knowledge sharing across global bids.
- Utilize automation and advanced analytics, including Generative AI where applicable, to:
- Improve pricing accuracy
- Scale pricing intelligence capabilities
- Accelerate bid turnaround times
- Partner with Finance to develop and maintain pricing frameworks and margin governance.
4. Process Improvement & Governance
- Establish, maintain, and enforce standardized pricing methodologies and governance practices.
- Continuously improve the speed, accuracy, and quality of bid pricing deliverables.
- Ensure alignment between regional pricing inputs and the organization's global pricing strategy.
- Enhance pricing tools, templates, financial models, and methodologies on an ongoing basis.
