As a Mechanical Engineer I, you'll work on product development projects, from concept through manufacture, collaborating with teams to create solutions that address scientific challenges. You'll develop and optimize mechanical designs using industry-leading tools and practices,
while ensuring compliance with quality standards and manufacturing requirements. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and meaningful impact as you contribute to the development of sophisticated laboratory equipment and scientific instruments that enable our customers' success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree required, 0-2 years of experience required in mechanical design and product development
- Preferred Fields of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical, Thermal, or related Engineering discipline
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, including modeling and drawing creation
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science
- Experience with ASME Y14 drawing standards and GD&T; principles
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including plastic injection molding, sheet metal, casting, and welding
- Familiarity with PLM/PDM
