- Role Overview The Assistant Manager – Accounts
will own end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, and team leadership. This individual will ensure the integrity of the company’s books, drive timely closures, and act as the primary liaison for direct tax and regulatory matters. - 1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
• Oversee and review the Trial Balance on a periodic basis; ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of all books of accounts • Drive timely monthly, quarterly,



and annual closure of accounts in coordination with the CFO • Maintain a robust Chart of Accounts and ensure proper classification of all transactions • Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for senior management review
- 2. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) Compliance
• Manage end-to-end TDS process: computation, timely deduction, deposit, and filing of returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27EQ, 27Q) within statutory timelines • Ensure accurate issuance of TDS certificates (Form 16 / 16A) to vendors and employees • Stay current with TDS rate revisions, threshold changes, and TRACES-related requirements • Resolve TDS mismatches and handle notices from the Income Tax Department relating to TDS defaults
- 3. Depreciation & Fixed Asset Management
• Maintain and regularly update the Fixed Asset Register across all locations • Compute depreciation as per the Companies Act 2013 (Schedule II) as well as the Income Tax Act, 1961 • Manage capitalisation of assets, asset disposals, write-offs, and physical verification reconciliation • Coordinate with operations and procurement for timely
