About the Role
As part of Qualcomm's Camera & Imaging team, you will contribute to next-generation mobile and embedded imaging solutions by working on:
Responsibilities
- Camera and Imaging Pipeline development
- Image Signal Processing (ISP)
- Computer Vision and Computational Photography
- 3A Algorithms – Auto Exposure (AE), Auto Focus (AF), and Auto White Balance (AWB)
- Signal Processing algorithms for camera systems
- Machine Learning and AI-based imaging features
- Integration with DSP, GPU, Video, Display, and Sensor subsystems
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in ECE, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Signal Processing, Computer Vision, or related disciplines. and PHD candidates only
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Good understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) fundamentals.
- Academic or project experience in:
- Image Processing
- Computer Vision
- Computer Graphics
- Machine Learning for Vision
- Camera Systems
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience through internships, research, publications, or academic projects in Imaging, Vision, or Signal Processing.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to OpenCV, MATLAB, Python, or ML frameworks.
- Knowledge of camera architecture, ISP pipelines, or embedded systems is a plus.
