We are looking for an experienced Senior Equity Research Manager who can lead our research team, generate high-quality investment ideas, and deliver actionable equity research based on fundamental analysis.
Job Summary
The Senior Equity Research Manager will be responsible for leading the equity research function, conducting detailed fundamental analysis of listed Indian companies, mentoring research analysts, reviewing research reports, and contributing to DSIJ's investment advisory products.
The ideal candidate should possess solid analytical capabilities, excellent financial modelling skills, deep understanding of Indian equity markets, and proven leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
Equity Research & Investment Analysis
- Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of Indian listed companies across sectors.
- Build and review financial models including forecasting and valuation models.
- Analyze financial statements, annual reports, earnings releases, conference calls, investor presentations, and regulatory filings.
- Prepare high-quality equity research reports with actionable investment recommendations.
- Monitor existing investment recommendations and update views based on company and market developments.
- Generate medium- and long-term investment ideas supported by detailed research.
Market & Sector Research
- Track macroeconomic developments and their impact on industries and companies.
- Publish sector reports, thematic research reports, and market outlooks.
- Identify emerging investment opportunities across sectors.
