1. JOB PURPOSE

The Bid Manager leads and coordinates the end-to-end bid, proposal, prequalification, EOI, RFQ and RFP submission process for the architectural practice. The role is responsible for managing opportunities from qualification through contract award, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compelling submissions that showcase the firm’s design capabilities, project experience, technical expertise and value proposition. The Bid Manager works closely with Architects, Design Directors, Project Managers, Marketing and Senior Leadership to secure current business opportunities and support the firm’s growth objectives.

2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVES
- Responsible for the entire bid lifecycle management of tenders, RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, design competition submissions and prequalification documents.
- Coordinate and obtain inputs from architects, design teams, project managers, technical specialists and external partners.
- Review client requirements and develop bid strategies, submission plans and responsibilities.




- Ensure all submissions clearly articulate the firm’s value proposition, design excellence, innovation and differentiators.
- Ensure compliance with bid/no-bid governance processes and approval procedures.
- Schedule and facilitate bid kick-off meetings, reviews and management sign-offs.
- Maintain document control and version management for all proposal documentation.
- Prepare, write, edit and proofread proposal content, executive summaries and project case studies.
- Ensure all submissions comply with client requirements and deadlines.
- Manage multiple pursuits simultaneously while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Coordinate pre- and post-submission clarifications with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coach the discipline leads for the Post Bid presentations
- Support contract review and project handover processes following successful awards.
