Role Overview
We are seeking a
UI Test & Automation Engineer for a 3-month contract
to strengthen the quality of our web application. This role involves a combination of hands-on manual UI testing and building robust automation and end-to-end (E2E) test coverage for critical user workflows.

You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure new features are validated thoroughly and regressions are prevented through reliable automated tests.

Key Responsibilities




- Perform manual UI testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation and E2E test suites
- Identify test scenarios, edge cases, and user journey coverage
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Debug and stabilize flaky tests
- Maintain test documentation, test cases, and test reports
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability of the product
- Participate in regression cycles and release validation

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in UI testing and test automation
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Playwright / Selenium / Cypress /WebdriverIO
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python / Java (any one)
- Experience writing E2E tests for web applications
- Strong understanding of browsers, DOM, HTTP, and debugging UI issues
