Job Overview: A School Counsellor fosters students' academic, emotional, social, and personal development. They provide guidance, support, and interventions to help students navigate challenges and succeed in their academic and personal lives. They help students manage their own behaviour, resolve conflicts and foster emotional and mental well-being.

Responsibilities:

1. Student Counselling: Providing individual and group counselling to students to help them address personal, social,



and behavioural issues that may affect their academic performance and well-being.

2. Academic Support: Assisting students in setting academic goals, developing study skills, and addressing academic challenges. Collaborating with teachers and parents to support student learning.

3. Crisis Intervention: Responding to crises or emergencies affecting students, such as bereavement, trauma, or behavioral crises. Providing immediate support and coordinating with school administrators, parents, and external agencies when necessary.
