Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Scrub Nurse to join our Cardiology Department. The ideal candidate should have experience assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring strict adherence to sterile techniques, patient safety, and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Cath Lab for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during coronary angiography, angioplasty (PCI), pacemaker implantation, peripheral interventions, and other Cath Lab procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques throughout all procedures.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments, catheters, guidewires, stents, balloons, and other Cath Lab consumables.
- Monitor patient safety and assist in emergency situations during procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and inventory management of Cath Lab equipment and instruments.
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation and nursing records.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for smooth procedural workflow.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, radiation safety guidelines, and NABH standards.
Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with a valid State Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Scrub Nurse in a hospital with an interventional cardiology setup.
