Role & responsibilities
- 4-8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL administration.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
- Knowledge of database replication, clustering, and high-availability architectures.
- Robust SQL query optimization and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with shell scripting, Python, or Bash for automation.
- Understanding of database security, access management, and auditing.
- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure Database, or Google Cloud SQL) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Nagios.
