Role Overview

The Editorial & Publications Manager will work closely with and report to the Head of

Communications & Culture, leading Veera Foundation’s editorial ecosystem across

platforms. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, research, culture, and

communications, translating ideas into thoughtful, accessible, and engaging content.

You’ll ensure Veera publishes consistently without sacrificing depth, clarity, or

editorial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Editorial Strategy & Publishing
- Own and manage Veera Foundation’s editorial calendar across platforms.
- Lead end-to-end publishing across Instagram, LinkedIn,



the website, newsletters, and
- long-form publications.
- Write, edit, and proofread communication materials across formats.
- Maintain consistency in Veera’s editorial voice, writing standards, and storytelling
- approach.

2. Content Development
- Lead the development of Veera’s recurring editorial properties, including Culture
- Archive, Veera Lens, Data Diaries, NOTED, Field Notes, and the Veera Journal.
- Write blogs, articles, newsletters, reports, website copy, speeches, and campaign
- narratives.
- Translate programme learnings and research into compelling public-facing stories.
- Support communication for campaigns, partnerships, events, and institutional
- publications.

3. Editorial Operations
- Manage editorial workflows from ideation to publication.
- Coordinate with designers, videographers, photographers, and creative agencies.
- Support content production timelines and publishing schedul
