Job Description: -
The ideal candidate for the role will be:
• Responsible for execution of wire harness build activities at the Wire Harness Integration Lab in accordance with AS9100 & IPC/WHMA-A-620 and Aerospace quality standards for Requirements and Acceptance for Cable/Wire Harness Assemblies.
• A self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained setting.
• Familiar with basic computer skills
• Experienced with Commercial and Aerospace connector selection,
• Familiar with operating label printing machines and soldering stations
• Experienced with performing formal Qualification testing (Examples: DO-160,
MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461)
• Knowledgeable about wire harness manufacturing process vis-à-vis wire cutting, routing, splicing, crimping, soldering, assembling final harness, testing, inspecting
• Maintaining manufacturing BOMs, Tools, Formboards for Wire Harness.
• Maintaining lab operations documentation like process control records and work instructions
In locations where SPEEA representation applies, this job family will be covered by the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Typical Education & Experience:
Diploma or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION, preferably in Production/ Electrical / Mechanical / Aerospace / Aviation/ Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university with 5 -12 years of experience in aerospace domain.
