Bäcker & Charlie is an artisanal German bakery and neighbourhood café built on craftsmanship, hospitality, and operational excellence. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and inventory, and wants to play a key role with a growing food business.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance
- Process and maintain all purchase invoices and vendor bills.
- Record daily expenses and transactions in Zoho Books.
- Prepare vendor payment schedules and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and digital payment platforms.
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with monthly financial closing and statutory documentation.

Inventory & Stock Control
- Maintain inventory records across bakery and café operations.
- Conduct weekly and monthly physical stock counts.
- Investigate inventory variances and report discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movement, wastage, and consumption trends.




- Work closely with the kitchen and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy.

Reporting & Analysis
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on:
- Inventory consumption
- Food cost
- Operating expenses
- Vendor outstanding balances
- Cash flow and payment schedule.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and management reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts, finance, or inventory management.
- Experience using Zoho Books (preferred).
- Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Honest, organized, and proactive with strong follow-through.
