Job Title: Project Engineer – MEP
Entity: Bureau Veritas India Pvt Ltd (BVIL)
Location: Bangalore
Reports to (job): Manager – B&I; – Bangalore
Ø Purpose of Position
- The Project Engineer – MEP is responsible for design, engineering, automation, installation,
and commissioning of conveyor and material handling systems. The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Major Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Develop 3D models and 2D layouts for conveyor and material handling systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, motors, drives, and control panels into system designs.
- Prepare engineering drawings, layouts, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Support design reviews and value engineering initiatives.
Automation Programming
- Program, configure, and test PLCs (Rockwell / Allen-Bradley or equivalent).
- Develop and configure HMI screens for system monitoring and control.
- Interface PLCs with SCADA systems and third-party equipment.
- Perform logic validation, simulation, and FAT activities.
