Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct visual examinations of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as radiography testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) to detect defects or anomalies in welds.
- Develop and implement procedures for welding inspection, testing, and certification of welders.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in the welding process.
Job Requirements :
- 2-7 years of experience in welding inspection or related field.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from American Welding Society (AWS).
- Solid knowledge of AWS-CWI standards and codes.
- Proficiency in CSIWIP testing methods.
