Job Overview

The Lead Platform Engineering – GCC is responsible for managing a team of engineers providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support across enterprise infrastructure platforms, including VMware, Cisco UCS, Azure Cloud.

This role ensures reliable day-to-day operations, timely incident resolution, and alignment with US-based engineering teams. The position is execution-focused, emphasizing operational excellence, technical troubleshooting, and team leadership within a global delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership





Manage and lead a team of approximately 8 engineers supporting multiple infrastructure towers including VMware, Azure, and UCS
Assign and prioritize daily operational work, ensuring timely and accurate execution
Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
Maintain alignment with US-based leadership through regular communication and reporting

Infrastructure Operations

Support VMware environments including hosts, clusters, and virtual machines
Support Cisco UCS compute infrastructure including hardware troubleshooting and lifecycle coordination
Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments including Active Directory and system maintenance
Support Azure IaaS environments including virtual machines and core services
Execute standard procedures for provisioning, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning
