About the Internship
We're looking for a curious, AI-native SEO/AEO/GEO Intern to help grow Recooty's
visibility across both traditional search engines and AI answer engines. You'll
work on real content for a global SaaS product from day one, learning a skill
set that most marketers in India haven't caught up to yet. Perform well, and
this converts into a full-time role after 3 months.
What You'll Do
* Support on-page SEO: meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content
structure
* Conduct keyword research and identify content gaps against competitors
* Optimize blog content for AI citation: direct-answer openings,
question-format headers, FAQ sections, and structured data
* Research how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews answer
queries in the hiring and HR tech space, and find opportunities for Recooty
to get cited
* Track rankings, AI mentions, and organic traffic using Google Search Console
and Analytics
* Assist with internal linking audits and content refresh plans for existing
blog posts
* Monitor SEO health: indexing issues, duplicate content, and technical fixes
* Compile weekly reports on what's working, what's not, and why
What We're Looking For
* Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals: on-page, off-page, and technical
* Genuine curiosity about AI search tools; you already use ChatGPT, Perplexity,
or Gemini and notice how they cite sources
* Awareness of featured snip
