Job Description

The Senior Transport Executive will oversee and manage day-to-day transportation
operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods and personnel.
This role requires strong coordination skills, compliance with regulatory
standards, and the ability to optimize routes and resources for efficiency.

* Transport Planning & Coordination:
* Plan and schedule transportation activities for inbound and outbound
shipments.
* Optimize routes and vehicle utilization to reduce costs and improve
delivery timelines.
* Fleet Management:
* Monitor and maintain company vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and
maintenance standards.
* Coordinate with vendors for vehicle leasing, repairs, and insurance
renewals.
* Vendor & Driver Management:




* Liaise with transport vendors and negotiate contracts for cost efficiency.
* Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to company policies, and manage
performance.
* Compliance & Documentation:
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations, permits, and statutory
requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and expenses.

* Cost Control & Reporting:
* Track transportation costs and prepare periodic reports for management
review.
* Identify areas for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
* Safety & Risk Management:
* Implement safety protocols for drivers and vehicles.
* Handle emergency situations and ensure quick resolution of
transport-related issues.

* Key Skills & Competencies:

Robust knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.

Excellent planning, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and transport management software.

Ability to handle pressure and resolve
