The opportunity

Based in the GCO Enablement - Commercial Contracting team in GDS India, the role will support EY’s dynamic business on the Open Source Software (OSS) Legal Review Process, enabling cutting-edge solutions while navigating evolving technology risks and driving innovative, technology-driven solutions across engagements. You will provide legal support to the business and become a trusted adviser of stakeholders (often at senior level, including engagement partners).



You will be expected to assess and understand how firm risks can be best managed and mitigated.

Your responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Review OSS intake form to ensure completeness and accuracy of information provided. Liaise with requestors to rectify any missing or incorrect details in the OSS request or supporting documentation.
- Review and analyse OSS licenses in accordance with EY policies and the specific use case to mitigate legal and commercial risks.
- Support OSS-related due diligence as part of M&A; transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Information Security, Global GCO and local GCO.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of key business and legal risks, including EY’s internal risk management framework.
- Monitor and stay updated on changes to EY policies, organizational structure, and procedures, and assess their impact on ongoing work.
