PACCAR India is seeking an experienced Finite Element Analyst responsible for analysing commercial vehicle systems and subsystems using OptiStruct and Abaqus.

We are currently looking to hire a skilled FEA Engineer to join our Pune, India team.

Key Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of this role is to perform FEA-based analysis of PACCAR’s global products.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to understand design intent and develop as well as validate structural FEA models to support new engineering designs.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of products and assess requirements for vehicle systems, subsystems, and components in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.




- Apply digital prototyping techniques for static and vibration-based structural analyses, including stress, deformation, thermal, fatigue, modal, harmonic, and random vibration studies.
- Knowledge of crash simulation using LS-DYNA is considered an added advantage.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
- Perform FEA simulations on vehicle systems and subsystems using HyperWorks and Abaqus

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / master’s in mechanical, Automotive Engineering

Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED:
- 4–7 years of relevant experience within a multinational engineering organization.
- Solid foundation in engineering principles, particularly Strength of Materials and vibrations, with practical application in mechanical design.
