PACCAR India is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic Pune team, specializing in the design and development of various truck components, including conceptual sheet metal brackets, casting components, DEF routing, and exhaust systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design and development of exhaust systems.
- Develop robust sheet metal, exhaust piping,



and casting designs with a robust understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T;, BOMs, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Perform vehicle packaging, system integration, and interface management across subsystems.
- Participate in concept and design reviews with lead and division engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both locally and globally, to ensure design alignment and manufacturability.
- The primary function for this position includes:
- Execute CAD activities, including sheet metal, casting, piping, routing, advanced modeling, and assembly design.
- Interpret design requirements, perform clearance checks, and ensure compliance with drawing standards, GD&T;, and BOM accuracy.
- Work with exhaust systems, DEF systems, and frame mounting components

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Production Engineering
