We are looking for an experienced Database Migration Specialist with expertise in migrating databases from Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) to PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, validating, and optimizing end-to-end database migration activities while ensuring minimal downtime, high data integrity, and optimal database performance.
The role requires strong expertise in schema conversion, stored procedure migration, performance tuning, ETL processes, and application compatibility during database migration projects.
Required Skills
- 4–10 years of experience in Database Administration and Migration.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server:
- T-SQL
- SSIS
- Indexing

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL:
- PL/pgSQL
- Database Administration
- Performance Optimization
- Proven experience in MSSQL to PostgreSQL Migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Data Type Mapping
- Stored Procedure Conversion (T-SQL to PL/pgSQL)
- SQL Query Optimization
- Experience in Data Modeling and Database Design.
