Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will join ABB's Industrial Automation Digital organization as a Domain Engineer, contributing to the development of next-generation industrial automation products.
You will leverage your expertise in industrial process automation and IEC 61131 programming to develop robust, reusable,
and scalable control applications for process industries. Working closely with product managers, architects, software engineers, and quality teams, you will transform customer and domain requirements into reliable automation functionality that supports ABB's digital product portfolio.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Design, develop, and maintain industrial automation applications using IEC 61131 programming languages such as Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Ladder Logic.
- Develop reusable engineering assets including function block libraries, templates, standard sequences, and configurable automation modules to improve product quality and engineering efficiency.
- Translate domain knowledge from Food & Beverage, Chemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas, or similar process industries into scalable automation functionality and product features.
