PACCAR India is looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer (Hood Outer Body & Cab CMP) to join our energetic team in Pune, specializing in design and development of various truck components, Conceptual Sheetmetal brackets, Plastic & Casting components, HVAC system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ownership of the design and development of Interior & Exterior systems of commercial vehicles
- Must have proficiency in development of Class A, B, and C surfaces, along with plastic and sheet metal structure design for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with styling, functional, and manufacturing requirements.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T;, BOM creation,



and adherence to engineering standards.
- Perform vehicle packaging, integration, and interface management across subsystems.
- Should be able to conduct concept/design reviews with lead and division engineers.
- Should be able to solve technical queries and share knowledge expertise within the team.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams locally and globally to ensure design alignment and manufacturability.
- The primary function for this position includes:
- Execution on CAD – Plastic, Sheetmetal, casting, assembly, drawing, advance surfacing knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Understand design requirements, clearance check, drawing standards, GD&T;, and Bill of Material (BOM).
- Should have exposure to commercial trucks components like Cab, Hood, chassis and truck layouts.
- Familiar with HAVC system for cab and battery cooling system
