We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated L1 Network Security Engineers to join our SOC/NOC operations team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for basic monitoring, alert handling, troubleshooting, and operational support for Firewall, DDoS, and IDS/IPS security environments.
Freshers with internship/project experience in cybersecurity or networking are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities Firewall Monitoring & Support
- Monitor firewall devices such as:
- Cisco Firewall
- Palo Alto
- Check Point
- Fortinet
- Perform basic troubleshooting for firewall-related alerts and connectivity issues
- Escalate critical incidents to L2/L3 teams
DDoS Monitoring
- Monitor DDoS protection tools and ISP-based mitigation solutions
- Support platforms like:
- Radware
- ISP DDoS protection solutions
- Identify abnormal traffic spikes and raise incidents as per SOP
IDS/IPS Operations
- Monitor IDS/IPS alerts and security events
- Basic exposure to:
- Trend Micro
- Cisco IDS/IPS
- Perform initial alert validation and ticket creation
Incident & Ticket Management
- Handle incidents through ticketing tools
- Follow escalation matrix and operational procedures
- Ensure SLA adherence for ticket updates and closures
