Specialist – Project Coordinator
Summary
KBR is seeking a highly experienced Specialist – Project Coordinator to lead and
coordinate the engineering execution of large, complex projects across a diverse
portfolio, including Oil & Gas (Onshore and Offshore), Refining, Petrochemicals,
LNG, and Fertilizer sectors. This role serves as a key engineering and project
coordination focal point, ensuring the successful delivery of engineering
activities within budget, schedule, quality, and client requirements.
The Specialist Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers,
Engineering Managers, Clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure
seamless integration, effective stakeholder management, and successful project
execution throughout the project lifecycle. Skills are typically acquired
through completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Project
management and a minimum of 2 years related experience, with typical experience
ranging from 3-7 years.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Engineering Delivery
* Lead and coordinate engineering execution activities for large and complex
FEED, EPC, EPCM, and portfolio projects.
* Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project
scope, client specifications, quality standards, budget and schedule
requirements.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure effective
collaboration and alignment across all project phases.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective
actions to support project objectives.
* Facilitate communication and integration between engineering disciplines,
project controls, procurement, construction and client teams.
* Support project planning activities, including scope definition, execution
strategies, resource planning, schedules and deliverable tracking.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, client
requirements and HSE regulations.
