As the "Guardian of Cash Application Accuracy, Turnaround Time Standards, and Balance Sheet Integrity, " you assume direct execution responsibility for tracking patient deductibles, submitting insurance adjustments, parsing remittance files, and addressing payment variations. Responsibilities High/-Volume Cash & Remittance Application/: Accurately enter and post incoming payments into the billing database from a variety of sources, such as Electronic Funds Transfers EFTs, paper Explanation of Benefits EOBs,



and patient credit card receipts. Electronic Remittance Advice ERA Auditing/: Manually troubleshoot and settle any batch files that fall out of automated processes while loading, processing, and balancing automatic ERA files within the medical billing software. Contractual Adjustment & rejection Entry/: Based on payer contract schedules, apply accurate contractual adjustments, write/-offs, and co/-insurance lines accurately record and log insurance rejection codes to forward denied claims to the denial management team.
