The Role

The VBS Finance Systems Analyst will support finance-related systems, scripts,
automated processes, and operational workflows in a production environment. In
this role, the analyst will develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain
VBScript/VBS automations in accordance with business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities include investigating application, script, interface, and data
issues to perform root cause analysis and support permanent corrective actions.
Additionally, the analyst will validate automated outputs, test changes, and




support functional, regression, and automation testing activities. Working
closely with finance users and technical teams, they will understand
requirements, clarify issues, and translate needs into practical solutions. The
role also involves supporting incidents, service requests, problem management,
and change activities under established ITSM processes, while maintaining
documentation for scripts, operational procedures, known errors, and knowledge
articles. Ultimately, the analyst will identify opportunities to improve
reliability, automation, and operational efficiency across finance-related
processes.
