Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced CFD Engineer with strong expertise in StarCCM+ for model
preparation, meshing, and airflow analysis. The role involves performing CFD simulations
focused on airflow, pressure loss, porous media, and fan performance — specifically related to
HVAC systems and railway workplace conditions. The engineer must be able to independently
handle complete simulation workflows and provide accurate insights to support engineering
decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• CFD model preparation: Model simplification and meshing (StarCCM+)
• CFD analysis: Mainly airflow and pressure losses analysis through the HVAC unit
• Proficient on CFD analysis with StarCCM
• Lateral airflow loads on Railway environment conditions
• Fan simulations
• Porous media pressure losses: Filters, coils …
• Interpret simulation results and share findings with engineering teams

• Experience on creating macros in StarCCM
• Experience on HVAC units CFD calculation
• Propane (gas) propagation analysis
