Project Manager - Engineering
About the Role
KBR is seeking an accomplished Project Manager – Engineering to lead the
engineering execution of large, complex projects across the Energy and Chemicals
sectors, including Oil & Gas (Onshore and Offshore), Refining, Petrochemicals,
Fertilizers, and LNG.
This leadership role is responsible for driving engineering excellence
throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of FEED, EPC,
EPCm, and portfolio projects while meeting client expectations, quality
standards, budget targets, and schedule commitments. The Project Manager –
Engineering will act as the primary technical interface with clients and provide
strategic leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership & Project Delivery
* Lead the engineering execution of large-scale and complex FEED, EPC, EPCm,
and portfolio projects.
* Ensure engineering deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, within
budget, and in compliance with project requirements.
* Develop and implement engineering execution strategies aligned with project
objectives and client expectations.
* Drive engineering performance, productivity, and quality across all project
phases.
* Ensure effective planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and workload
management across multidisciplinary teams.
* Monitor engineering progress and proactively address issues that may impact
project performance.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Serve as the primary technical authority and key engineering interface
between KBR and the client.
* Build and maintain robust, collaborative relationships with clients,
partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
* Lead technical discussions, design reviews, progress meetings, and project
workshops.
* Ensure clear communication of engineering progress, project risks, and
mitigation strategies to clients and senior management.
