A bit about Team

GroundTruth is a location-based advertising and measurement company. You'll join the engineering team that builds the large-scale, high-traffic backend systems at the core of our advertising platform — distributed, real-time services where performance,



efficiency, and reliability are first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.

This is a hands-on backend role for someone who likes systems with real constraints and fast feedback. You'll design and ship production services, dig into how they behave under load, and make changes you can measure. It's a valuable fit if you care about getting things right and enjoy working close to the parts of a system where decisions actually show up in the numbers.

You will:
- Design, build, and operate backend services that run reliably at scale — yours from first commit through production.
- Work with distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing — and the failure modes that come with them.
- Profile and tune for performance and efficiency, where the right data structure or a single removed bottleneck makes the difference.
