As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving enterprise sales of SwitchOn's AI Vision Inspection and Industrial Automation solutions across the Tamil Nadu region. You will work closely with manufacturing customers to understand their quality inspection challenges, conduct product demonstrations and line trials, and deliver consultative, ROI-driven solutions. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role focused on recent business acquisition, account growth, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end B2B sales of AI Vision Inspection, Machine Vision, and Industrial Automation solutions.
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across Automotive, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, and Manufacturing sectors.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including Plant Heads, Quality Heads, Manufacturing Heads, and CXOs.
Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and line trials to showcase solution capabilities.
Develop account strategies, manage sales pipelines,



and drive opportunities through successful closure.
Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, and ROI-driven business cases.
Collaborate with Solutions, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and implementation.
Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets while expanding market presence across Tamil Nadu.
Travel extensively across the assigned territory for customer meetings, demos, and business development activities.

Requirements
Experience & Background
4–6+ years of experience in industrial automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Machine Vision, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), metrology/measurement systems, or CapEx equipment sales.
Prior experience selling Machine Vision or industrial automation solutions, or competing with leading players in this space.
Strong consultative and solution-selling experience with enterprise manufacturing customers.
