The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development,
validation, and continuous improvement of mechanical components, assemblies, and
subsystems that support current product development and the installed product base.
Working within established engineering processes and design standards, this role
partners with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and
manufacturable solutions that meet quality, regulatory, cost, and performance
objectives. The engineer contributes throughout the product development
lifecycle while ensuring timely delivery of assigned technical work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design, develop, validate, and support mechanical components, assemblies, and




subsystems for new product development and sustaining engineering
initiatives.

* Apply sound mechanical engineering principles, design standards, and best
practices to deliver robust, reliable, and compliant engineering solutions.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Electrical,
Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Service to develop
effective technical solutions.

* Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including
concept development, architecture, detailed design, prototyping,
verification, validation, manufacturing transfer, and post-launch support.

* Perform engineering analyses, design calculations, tolerance stack-up
analysis, and technical evaluations to support design decisions.

* Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical
documentation in accordance with established engineering standards.
