The Lead Production Team Leader (Lead PTL) is responsible for leading daily
manufacturing operations to ensure secure, efficient, and high-quality production.
This role oversees frontline production teams, drives operational excellence,
supports continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with cross-functional
teams to meet business objectives. The Lead PTL is accountable for production
performance, people leadership, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance while
fostering a culture of Lean and continuous improvement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and manage frontline production teams to achieve daily production,
quality, safety, and delivery targets.





* Foster a disciplined shop floor culture and maintain a safe, productive, and
collaborative work environment.

* Build positive employee relations and engage team members through coaching,
mentoring, and performance management.

* Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, and
other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve
operational performance.

* Monitor and report key manufacturing metrics including productivity, labor
utilization, throughput, inventory accuracy, work order completion, quality,
and customer complaints.

* Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, visual management,
waste elimination, standard work, and continuous improvement projects.

* Lead quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with established
quality standards and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
