JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

GE Vernova’s Advanced Research business is the central innovation engine for
GE’s portfolio of energy businesses, which is unified under one banner called GE
Vernova. The research organization is made up of 300+ researchers representing
virtually every major scientific and engineering discipline. Collectively, they
are driving major research programs and initiatives to decarbonize power,
accelerate renewables, and promote electrification and the creation of a 21st
century grid fit to power a zero-carbon energy future.

We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to develop advanced automation
solutions for manufacturing processes across GE Vernova’s operations. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong robotics and controls background with hands-on
expertise in implementing automation solutions in manufacturing environments.
This role will focus on designing and deploying robotic systems while leveraging
principles of lean to optimize production lines and workflows.

Roles and responsibilities

* Lead the design, development,



and deployment of cutting-edge robotic and
automation solutions for manufacturing lines, ensuring efficiency,
reliability, and scalability.
* Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to analyze existing workflows,
identify automation opportunities, and implement creative solutions that
improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
* Develop and program industrial robots, including their kinematics, motion
planning, and application-specific tasks.
* Integrate robotic systems with supervisory control systems and other
manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless interoperability.
* Apply machine vision technologies, including camera systems and image
processing algorithms, for part recognition, inspection, and alignment.
* Travel to manufacturing sites as needed to collaborate with plant teams,
understand operational processes, and evaluate implementation success.
