If you feel like you’re part of something bigger, it’s because you are. At
Amgen, our shared mission—to serve patients—drives all that we do. It is key to
our becoming one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies. We are global
collaborators who achieve together—researching, manufacturing, and delivering
ever-better products that reach over 10 million patients worldwide. It’s time
for a career you can be proud of.
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital and exciting role, you will
serve as a Scientific Documentation & Enablement Specialist who will support the
adoption and effective use of complex scientific and informatics workflows
across Large Molecule Discovery (LMD). This role serves as a bridge between
technical development teams and scientific end users by creating explicit,
accurate, and accessible documentation that guides research users and new
hires. The specialist will translate multifaceted workflow steps, decision
points, system interactions, and expected outputs into practical guidance that
supports consistent day-to-day execution.
Working closely with scientists, informaticians, software engineers, and
workflow owners, this individual will develop and maintain user-facing
documentation, quick reference guides (QRGs), training materials, and workflow
guidance that help researchers understand how to complete complex processes
accurately and efficiently. The role will also help establish documentation
standards and best practices that promote consistency, usability, and adoption
across the LMD informatics ecosystem.
This position is ideal for someone with a scientific background who enjoys
organizing complex workflow information and communicating it in a way that is
intuitive, actionable, and meaningful to research users.
