Role & Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics for Classes 2-6.
Design project-based and experiential learning activities that connect Social Science concepts to real-world issues.
Assess student progress using formative and summative methods, and adapt instruction to diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate thematic learning and cross-curricular projects.
Participate in faculty development, parent-teacher meetings, and school-wide events to support holistic student growth.
Maintain classroom discipline, foster inclusive values, and model ethical, empathetic leadership for students.
Must-Have
Skills & Qualifications
BA/B.Sc in History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics
B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification from a recognized Indian university
Fluency in English and Hindi (or regional medium as applicable)
Classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
Experience teaching CBSE/ICSE curriculum for Classes 2-6
Understanding of NEP 2020 pedagogical approaches
Valid Teaching Eligibility Test (TET/CTET) certification
Preferred
Experience with CCE or continuous assessment frameworks
Workshop or project facilitation experience in Social Science
Ability to integrate digital storytelling or GIS tools into Geography lessons
