Engineer CAE Durability

Job Introduction:

Modelling and analyzing transmission systems through 3D FEM Modeling using
Altair HyperWorks.

Major Responsibilities:

* Analyzing powertrain components for loads, stresses, and Lifetime.

* Calculating housings and other transmission components for hybrid and
electric powertrain designs using simulation tools

* Preprocessing of geometry in Altair HyperMesh/SimLab

* Defining boundary conditions, perform Postprocessing and check for
plausibility and Interpretation of simulation results

* Creating reports according to Magna Powertrain specifications and templates,
including recommendations and proposals for design optimization

* Writing technical documents and presenting the results in an effective manner

Knowledge and Education:

* University degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics
