External Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
•Production Planning & Scheduling:
oDevelop detailed production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
oEnsure timely issuance of production orders and monitor execution against planned schedules.
oCoordinate with production, procurement, quality, and dispatch teams to align planning and delivery.
•Material Planning:
oWork closely with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
oMonitor material usage and support inventory optimization initiatives.
•Capacity Planning:
oEvaluate machine and manpower capacity on a regular basis to ensure productive resource utilization.
oIdentify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to improve throughput.
•Process Monitoring & Reporting:




oTrack daily/weekly/monthly production KPIs (e.g., adherence to plan, OTIF, yield).
oPrepare reports and dashboards for internal review and management reporting.
•Continuous Improvement:
oDrive process improvements in planning systems, lead time reduction, and waste elimination.
oSupport digital transformation initiatives in the production planning function.
•Cross-functional Coordination:
oLiaise with Sales, Design, Stores, Quality, and Production teams to ensure integrated planning and execution.
oSupport customer communication in case of delivery issues or escalations.
