The Engineering Manager for combustion module provides strategic and technical
leadership for a team focused on the design and analysis of combustion systems
and components within the Gas Turbine Engineering (GTE) organization in
Bangalore. As a people leader, you will be responsible for building a
high-performing, inclusive team that delivers excellence in combustion physics,
fuel flexibility, and thermodynamic & mechanical design. You will champion the

Roles and Responsibilities
* People Leadership & Development: Champion a culture of continuous learning
and growth. Provide regular, actionable coaching to team members, supporting
their career aspirations and ensuring they develop the technical and
leadership skills needed for success within GE Vernova.
* Operational Excellence: Lead the team in executing combustion design and
evaluation using rigorous engineering principles. Utilize lean operating
rhythms, bowler metrics, and visualization tools to facilitate daily
management and ensure projects meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost
(SQDC) targets.
* Technical Strategy & Alignment: Provide technical leadership in combustion
design, troubleshooting, and testing. Facilitate cross-functional discussions
between Systems, Product Line, Sciences, and the Chief Engineer’s office to
clear roadblocks and ensure alignment on product CTQs.
