POSITION SUMMARY

* Lead Structural Engineer develops design of structural project documentation
to satisfy all required inputs and requirements and to produce safe,
reliable, functional, and economical construction.
* Lead Structural Engineer develops structural design of modular steel
structures of moderate to high complexity. Lead Structural engineer works
with Senior Engineering to review on complex structural calculations, steel
structure workshop documentation, lifting and transport drawings, anchoring
layouts, and technical specifications, develops new skills and knowledge
through internal and external education, manages and coordinates work of
other structural engineering team members. If needed Lead structural engineer
participates as design engineer in Vertiv R&D; projects.
* Handles one or multiple projects and also leads cross functional
communication in project work. Overlooks other services integration and
ensures all aspects are considered in the design.
* Frontends project critical deliverables with clients if required and raises
RFI with client if required.




* Engineer with Data Center Projects experience/background or similar Critical
Infrastructure experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Developing of project conceptual and detailed design
* Based on input data (information, requirements, standards), development of
structural project documentation: static calculations, dynamic calculations,
structural 3D model design, detail drawings, descriptions, instructions,
material submittals, presentations, and marketing materials etc.
* During design follow and take into consideration international, national and
company standards and good engineering practices
* Use knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements given by project tasks
* Participating in kick-off meeting, regular project team meetings, and in office
coordination meetings
* Reporting project status to Project Team Leader
* Proactive cooperation with all team members during project execution
