Install and configure SQL Server 2022 (Standard and Enterprise) on Windows Server 2022.
Configure cross-DC Failover Clusters and Always On Availability Groups.
Perform migration of databases (~300 GB each) from SQL 2016 to SQL 2022.
Harden OS and SQL instance configurations per CIS/MAS guidelines.
Conduct VA scans and apply remediations.
Execute and document two migration dress rehearsals prior to Go-Live.
Validate failover, backup, and restore procedures.
Support SAT/UAT and dual Go-Live events with DLP support.
Deliver runbooks and knowledge transfer to CUSTOMER’S Ops team.
Required Skills
6–10 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 → 2022).
Solid knowledge of Always on HA and Windows Failover Clustering.
Expertise in database migration, backup/restore, log shipping.
Familiar with CIS hardening and VA tools for SQL and Windows.
Performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator / Azure Database Engineer.
Experience with banking or regulated production environments.
