Fuel Manager Reports To General Manager

Summary

The Fuel Manager is responsible for the overall administrative operations, which includes oversight of logistics, dispatch, drivers and service administration. The Fuel Manager must effectively and efficiently manage the technical productivity, and promote high quality customer satisfaction while building relationships and ensuring the integration of strategic plans with company operations.

Job Duties

 Coordinate the logistics of inbound & outbound fuel trucks
 Communicate and work with TKG’s customers, suppliers, truckers, and transportation providers
 Monitor fuel storage tank levels
 Notify fuel supplier of fuel levels




 Unloading fuel from trucks and loading fuel into the appropriate hopper
 Perform fuel handling
 Be familiar with fuel suppliers remote monitoring systems
 Communicate estimated arrival times with First Nation communities of inbound fuel trucks and product type
 Ensure all safety protocols are in place and implemented
 Establishes the overall implementation of the internal fuel operations.
 Implement processes and procedures to optimize performance
Monitor operational performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary
Meet regularly with leads; facilitate resolution of issues/problems between suppliers, truckers and/or management
Preparation and monitoring of the department
Handle Customer enquiries and complaints which are escalated from the communities
Analyze the Customer's concern and present options to solve their issue
