Department: PMCM (Project Management & Construction Management)Position: Structural Design Engineer Location: Mumbai Qualification- Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Experience- Minimum 12-18 years of experience in structural engineering.- Mandatory experience in high-rise building construction projects.- Experience with multinational construction companies, EPC contractors, or PMC/PMCM organizations is preferred. Key Responsibilities- Review and monitor structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, design specifications, project standards, and applicable codes.- Coordinate with the Client, design consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on all structural engineering matters.- Review structural calculations, shop drawings, method statements,
and material submittals submitted by contractors.- Monitor construction activities to ensure structural works are executed in accordance with approved designs and quality requirements.- Identify structural design or construction issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions.- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.- Coordinate structural interfaces with architectural and MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.- Ensure compliance with Samsung C&T; PMCM standards, quality requirements, HSE regulations, and statutory codes.- Support project planning, progress monitoring, and technical reporting.- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and project coordination meetings with stakeholders.- Assist in resolving technical queries, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and engineering change requests.
