The role requires strong hands-on experience in Kafka application development not Kafka administration or purely Data Engineering experience.
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Kafka Producer and Consumer development
- Kafka Topics Partitions Consumer Groups and Offset Management
- Kafka Streams / Kafka Connect
- Schema Registry / Avro / Protobuf
- Experience integrating Kafka with applications and APIs
- Robust programming experience in Java or Python
- Spring Boot / Spring Kafka and Microservices experience is preferred
- Experience with real-time/event-driven application development
