Job Summary
We are hiring a Database Engineer (L3 Support) with solid experience in managing enterprise database environments. The role involves database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, high availability, and troubleshooting critical production issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support production databases.
- Perform database performance tuning and SQL optimization.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents.
- Support database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
- Implement and maintain high availability and replication solutions.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Mysql
- Strong knowledge of MySQL tuning and query optimization.
- Experience with High Availability (HA), Clustering, and Replication.
- Knowledge of database monitoring and automation tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
Preferred Profile
- 8+ years of Database Administration experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support model.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
